If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services. These terms apply to all clients, visitors, and users of the Researchodesk platform.

Researchodesk provides professional academic publication support services including, but not limited to:

• check_circle Journal selection and submission management for Scopus, Web of Science, and other indexed databases
• check_circle Research consultancy and manuscript writing support
• check_circle Thesis and dissertation support services
• check_circle Resubmission support and reviewer response preparation

Researchodesk acts as a support and facilitation service. We do not guarantee journal acceptance, as final publication decisions rest solely with the respective journals and their editorial boards.

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 and over. By using our services, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement. Institutional clients confirm that the individual submitting an enquiry is authorised to act on behalf of their organisation.

You confirm that any manuscript or research material submitted to us is your own original work, or that you have obtained all necessary permissions from rightful owners before submitting it for our services.

All intellectual property rights in manuscripts, research data, and materials submitted by clients remain exclusively with the client. Researchodesk does not claim any ownership over client-submitted content.

All content on the Researchodesk website including text, graphics, logos, design elements, and service descriptions is the intellectual property of Research'O'Desk and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without prior written permission.

Researchodesk treats all client manuscripts, research data, and personal information with strict confidentiality. We will not share, sell, publish, or disclose any client materials to third parties without explicit written consent, except where required by law.

All Researchodesk team members and contracted editors are bound by confidentiality agreements. Client materials are retained only for the duration of the active project and securely deleted upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Service fees are agreed upon between Researchodesk and the client prior to commencement of work and are confirmed in writing. Full or partial payment may be required upfront depending on the scope of the engagement.

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Where a service has not yet been commenced, a full refund will be issued. Where work is partially completed, a pro-rata refund reflecting completed work may be offered at Researchodesk's discretion.

Researchodesk does not offer refunds on the basis of journal rejection, as acceptance decisions are made solely by the respective journal's editorial board and are beyond our control.

Estimated turnaround times are confirmed at the point of engagement. Researchodesk will make every reasonable effort to deliver within agreed timelines. However, delivery times may be affected by manuscript complexity, client response times, and circumstances beyond our control.

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate manuscript materials at the outset. Delays resulting from incomplete submissions or delayed client feedback may impact delivery timelines and Researchodesk will not be held liable for such delays.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Researchodesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of publication opportunity, academic standing, or revenue.

Our total liability to any client in connection with any service shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree not to use Researchodesk's services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates academic integrity policies. Prohibited activities include:

• check_circle Submitting manuscripts that contain plagiarised content or fabricated data
• check_circle Misrepresenting authorship or obtaining services under false pretences
• check_circle Using our services in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies
• check_circle Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse any part of the Researchodesk website

Your privacy is important to us. Personal data collected through our website and service engagements is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR.

We collect only the information necessary to deliver our services and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

Researchodesk reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
